Oh baby baby!

Where has time gone? My baby turned one today and I just can't believe how fast this past year has gone. Phoebe is such a fun little girl and we are so blessed to have her in our lives. Here are some of my favorite things:

1. She hisses. Cory calls it her Slestak noise.
2. She loves being naked. After I change her diaper I give her naked baby time.
3. She snuggles me when I do naked baby time with her. I lay down on my bed and she sits on my chest and just snuggles me.
4. She has 4 1/2 teeth out and her smile makes my heart so happy.
5. She loves to eat but forgets to chew. She always ends up with giant food stuffed cheeks and Mommy has to dig the food out so she doesn't choke.
6. She gets so mad at me when I dig the food out of her mouth so she doesn't choke.
7. She idolizes Zoe and giggles like crazy whenever her big sister plays with her.
8. She is learning to wave "Bye bye" but the way she holds her hand she is really waving to herself.
9. Her hair has just a hint of red in it and I didn't notice until she was 8 months old or so.
10. Sometimes she gets really shy and hugs me so hard.
11. She climbs up on everything and likes to help me type when I am working.
12. She gets so mad at me when I sit down to nurse her and am not ready to go instantly.
13. She loves her Daddy so much and gets so mad when he doesn't say "hi" to her immediately when he comes in the door from work.
14. She loves having a bath or shower. If I get in the shower without her she gets so mad at me. Or if Cory has me hold her after the bath water is ready while he grabs some supplies she gets so angry.
15. She loves it when I blow on her hands and feet.
16. She loves to play with her tongue and makes funny noises with it.
17. She squeals with delight and it is so perfect.

Tail end of Summer

We have been having such a fun summer and I am very sad to see it go. Phoebe is almost a year old!! I can't even imagine where the time has gone. She is such a fun baby and we are having so much fun with her. She is a crawling master and goes all over the place. She is pulling herself up on everything but hasn't dared to stand up on her own or take a step yet. She makes the best demon noises ever. I've tried to get them on video and just haven't been able to yet. She loves playing with her tongue and making tongue noises. She wiggles like crazy and tries to roll over and get away as soon as you try to change her diaper. But if you wiggle your tongue and make tongue noises you will usually distract her enough to do the job. Funny kid!

Zoe will be 4 before I know it and she is growing into a big kid more and more every day. Cory was feeling sad the other day because Zoe didn't want to play with him. I guess she didn't like the way he was playing dolls so she wanted to play alone. She always wants to play with her cousin Cora and especially her big cousin Pammy. She is very interested in playing dress-ups and especially loves all things princess. She has several phone toys and she loves playing with the cell phones. Her favorite food is Macaroni and Cheese and she asks for it constantly! For breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Her favorite color is pink. She is a little sweetheart. I'm not excited for summer to be over but I am excited for all of the fun adventures that we have coming up. This fall is going to be fantastic!

A sudden summer rain storm caught Zoe by surprise..but she was so excited because I let her play with my umbrella. All fun and games till the scary thunder started to roll.

I made a little bed out of pillows and blankets for Zoe and Cora to lay on while watching one of their favorite shows "Retangled" (really "Tangled" Zoe calls it Retangled and it makes me laugh).

Zoe loved every part of her cousin Tara's wedding. But she was very broken hearted when she couldn't go into the castle (temple). But it almost made up for it when she got to dance with Princess Tara.
