Much happier

So things have been so much better than the last time I blogged! Zoe has been a much happier baby (except when she gets stuck in her car seat). Things are going really well for us and we are extra excited because we will be blessing Zoe next Sunday! If anyone wants to come Sacrament starts at 12:50 (it's our last meeting). The address is 2080 East 5165 South, SLC 84117. The easiest way to get to the church is from I-15 take the 45th S. Exit and head East until you hit Highland Drive and you will turn right (At an Albertsons) You will follow Highland Drive past Cottonwood Mall (which is being renovated and is getting torn down) until you see Donalson Street which is on the left side of the street and our church is there. It should be a fun time!!

Here are a couple of adorable Zoe pictures for you to enjoy!

Zoe loves to sleep in Corys arms like this and it is so funny!
Cory calls this Zoe's "cowgirl" outfit.. so darn cute by the way the shoes aren't shoes they are actually socks that are meant to look like shoes. Cleaver people make the millions right!

First smile caught on film!!

Tough day

Today was a tough day with Zoe. I have been so frustrated with her pretty much all day. I think she is getting a cold and she is just so darn grumpy. She has basically cried ALL day and I just didn't think it would be this hard. I feel so frazzled...try and imagine me with all of my hair standing on end cause that's how I feel. How do the other parents handle the grumpy baby days. I swear I just want to stick her in her bassinet and let her cry until she sleeps. It's days like this when I really remember back to how nice it was to sleep a lot and go out and do whatever I wanted. I love my baby so much but today she is just making me crazy!

As a follow up to the cloth diapers thing I have decided to wait and let Heather try them!! I have heard some good things about them online but it seems that everyone I know who has seen them in action tells me to steer clear. So I'll stick with disposable...the whole cloth diaper world is a little confusing and intimidating anyway.

2 months!

Zoe is 2 months old now and it is crazy how fast the time has gone! She is so adorable and we are so happy that she is part of our family. She is getting so big! She is finally starting to grow which is exciting. She is now 22 inches long and she weighs 8 lbs 2 oz!!! Our 2 month old is still the size of a newborn (and still wearing newborn clothes) but she is finally on her way and growing like crazy. The Doctor (who I think is the best Doctor ever) says that her weight and head are in the 5th percentile (which means 95% of babies have bigger heads and weigh more) and her height is in the 25th percentile.

She is doing so well and the Doctor is really happy with her progress. She ended up getting a bunch of shots yesterday..5 in total and she also had an oral med to take. It was so sad watching her get the shots cause she's just so sweet and little! She ran a fever of 99.3 which was kinda scary because it was her first fever. But she seems to be doing much better now and she was even smiling at me and enjoying some of her toys today. She is working really hard at lifting up her little head so I thought I'd post some cute pictures of Zoe using her neck.

Cloth Diapers?!

So I am kind of thinking about using cloth diapers. Has anyone used them? Does anyone know anything about them. I have read a little (very little) about them and think it might be something to try. Because I don't know of anyone who has used them I feel afraid to try something new and scary. I don't want to be covered in pee or poops you know. Let me know if anyone knows about them cause I am curious!!
