Worst thing ever!!
Zoe has been doing the most horrible thing ever! She has been choking on her spit up. It has happened 4 times now and it gets scarrier each time. The last time was Wed night and I was positive that she was going to die. I have never seen anything more awful than my child dying! Her little body gets stiff and she struggles trying to breathe and I die a little inside everytime it happens. I am crying as I type this because it is so awful! She's my baby and I don't know what I would do if she died.
We went to the Doctor on Thursday and it turns out that she has a case of Reflux. The Doctor (who I think is the greatest Doctor ever he totally reasured me and made me feel like I did everything right) prescribed Zoe some reflux medication so hopefully it will help and we won't have any more problems. The medication is in a liquid form and the Doctor assured me that it would be "pleasant" tasting. Well, as someone who has enjoyed different liquid meds (Nyquil anyone) I didn't really believe that it could taste pleasant. Well when I gave the baby her first dose yesterday she LOVED it! It smells really sweet so I'm sure it is excellent to a baby who has only ever eaten formula and breast milk. So we really really hope this works and the baby stops choking! Oh, and she has finally passed her birth weight!! She was 7 lbs 3 oz!!!

Leslie and the Ly's
I went to a Leslie and the Ly's concert on Friday and it was soooo much fun! It is the silliest group and I had a blast. I went with my good friend Hilary and we rocked hard core. The singer is so funny she wears gem sweaters (remember the beadazzler!!) and gold spandex suits..it is so RAD! She sings crazy songs about Zombie killers and Willow. The show was so great and afterwards we got some really sweet picturess! I wore my gem sweater and also bought a t-shirt with Leslies head on it. It was great and the best part was seeing all the men in gem sweaters!

Zoe update
Zoe is the most adorable baby ever! I am so in love with this little girl I can't even believe it. And, Cory is so smitten with her it is so sweet to see him taking care of his little girl. I can't believe how much our lives have changed..and almost every change has been for the best. We have been so blessed in our lives I can't believe how lucky we are!
Zoe had her first big bath about a week ago and it was so much fun! Well not so much fun for her but I had fun giving her the bath. She is just so sweet and for most of the bath she was such a good girl and didn't even fuss. But towards the end I think she started to get cold so she started to cry a little.

After she was born Zoe lost about 9 ounces which is pretty normal for babies to lose weight after birth. When we went to her 2 week follow up she hadn't gained anything so the Doctor wanted us to do a follow up visit. We went back to the Doctors on Friday and she gained 4 ounces so the Doctor was happy with that. We are going to do another weight check up in a week and hopefully she will continue to grow. It really freaks me out thinking that my baby isn't gaining weight. It makes me wonder if the boob food is not all it's cracked up to be. I have been giving her one feeding of formula and the rest are all boob food at the Doctors orders. Hopefully this will make her good!
