On the Move

Well it's finally official! Zoe has figured out how to crawl and she is LOVING it!! She is all over the place and getting into trouble everywhere she goes! I swear I can't leave her on the bathroom floor while I take a shower cause she plays in the bathroom cabinet, plays in the trash, with the plunger, with the toilet brush, with the TP, with the towel hanging up...etc. I seriously have to clear the bathroom of everything to be able to take a shower without yelling "no-no" or getting out and rescuing her. Oh..and the best part is that my shower door is a glass door so we aren't talking about about just a shower curtain here. Well Miss Zoe crawled over to the shower door so she could see me and when I was all ready to get out she was blocking the door and I couldn't get out!! So there I was stuck in the shower soaking wet with a baby blocking my exit! She is such a funny girl! I actually had to distract her by throwing a little bottle out in hopes that she would crawl after it..luckily my plan worked and I was freed from the shower! Even though it's a bit of a hassle to have her crawling she is just so darn cute doing it! She is also starting to try and pull up..she hasn't made it to her feet yet but she pulls up to her knees.

We went to Sacramento for Claire's blessing day and had an excellent, but short trip. It's always so great to get together with the Cali family!! The drive out wasn't too bad...we left at night so Zoe would sleep. We were tired cause we left on New Years Day after a late night partying at my sisters house (two doors down). We made it to Reno and decided to get a hotel room around 3:00 am local time (4am our time). Well lucky us Zoe decided that after her long night of sleeping in the car she was good and ready to play!!! So being a mean and nasty person I let Cory stay up with her while I slept! She eventually tired out but it took a little over 2 hours!!! The next morning we departed on what should have been a 2 hour drive but ended up spending about 5 hours maybe more stuck in the Donner pass in the weeniest snow storm I have ever seen!!! I mean come on people...you don't need chains if the snow ain't sticking! So looooong trip out but a great time seeing everyone!
Zoe with Uncle Tim, Noah, and Joseph
Cory's little sister Tiffany

Some of my beautiful nieces

Corbin..the fiesty big brother to sweet baby Claire

Baby Claire
Cory with his Dad and 3 of his Brothers

We have had lots of snow so Cory has had to shovel the driveway a lot. Well it made a bit of a hill so my sister came over with her girls and we had the kids go sledding on the "hill". It was so funny and Zoe just loved it until she reached her little hand out and grabbed a bunch of snow. Then we decided it was time to snuggle her and call it a day.

Cory had his 32nd Birthday on the 16th and now he is an oldie moldie for sure!! For a special night we went out for Indian food (Cory's fave..well top 10 at least) with a group of our friends and had a great time. I decided to do a little something special for him and had the coolest cake made special just for him!! Let's just say Cory had a very Hammy Birthday!!! Ha ha!!

And on a last note...what is with kids these days?? I swear celebrities get funnier looking every year!! When I was a teen we had all the hottest guys..

Justin Timberlake (NSYNC),

Hanson,

Jonathan Taylor Thomas,

James Van Der Beek,

Elijah Wood and many many more!

So what is the deal with the Jonas Brothers?? I just don't get it! the Jo Bro's are nerds!! Mega nerds!! I'm so glad I'm not a teen now-a-days! Crummy idols!

Blech!! Shiny silver pants..Tight tight jeans (girl pants), funny hair, weird facial expressions..etc!
Well at least they have Archie.And...last but not least Zoe in the tub!

JulleeEEEEEE!!!! I love you soooo much, you are freakin awesome! I love the Zoe video! I had to watch it a couple of times because it just so Julleeish! Zoe is so lucky to have you as her mommy and cory as her daddy! You guys are the best parents ever...you can adopt me if you want! I only have one request that after you lock me in the basement because I'm such an embarrassment to the community you have to at least tape my soap for me. I'll be seeing you soon! Where did you get your super ham cake?

Shawnee I wouldn't lock you in the basement! Sometimes we have to use the basement. I'd lock you in the storage shed out back. Or maybe in Heathers storage shed out back. Ha ha!

I got the Ham cake at Harmons and it was sooooo great!
